Getting Started
Becoming a Ways driver is simple and straightforward. Just make sure to have the following information when you download our Driver App
Driver's Information
- National ID: We need a scan of your valid National ID or Passport to confirm your identity and Nationality.
- Driver's License: A valid and current driver's license or permit will required to verify your ability to driver.
- Digital Passport Photo: This will be used as your driver profile picture in the Ways App for the rider to confirm your Identity to start the ride.
- Personal Contact Information: We will need your Phone number and email for official communications. Please note: Your Phone Number should be Registered in your ID names and with Mobile Money and on Whatsapp.
- Emergency Contact
Vehicle Information
- Vehicle Make & Model: These are need to properly categorize your vehicle for the ways ride options.
- Vehicle Insurance: This is mandatory to protect you and you rider from any damages where need be.
- Vehicle Inspection: We need to know that your vehicle meets our standards and is in a good driving condition. This is covered by in your Registration Fee
- Pictures of the Vehicle: We will need at least 6 clear day pictures of your vehicle showing (Front, Left, Right, Back, Front seats & Back Seats)
Background Check & Reference
- Stage Chairman Letter: If you are apart of any stage, it helps to have a letter from your stage chairman in case of any emergency.
- Police Driver Reference Letter: This is to make sure you are not under any legal situations that may affect you work with ways.
- Police Vehicle Reference Letter: This is also to ensure the vehicle has a clear ownership and traffic record to ensure that there will not be any inconveniences during rides.
- Current LC1 Letter: This is to confirm residency and character standing.
